MSC R&D delighted to present Innovation Award at the V4B awards ceremony

MSC R&D was delighted to present the Innovation Award at the Vale4Business awards ceremony on Friday night.

Oxfordshire is home to an amazing number of innovative technology companies of all sizes, across a wide range of sectors and technologies.

So, when offered the chance to sponsor the prestigious Innovation Award, MSC R&D jumped at the opportunity to show its support.

The awards ceremony dinner was held at the Williams F1 headquarters in Grove, Oxon, where guests were entertained by a tour of the private museum of F1 cars and the guest speaker and master of ceremonies – Graham Bell, a renowned British Olympic skier.

The quality of the submissions for the Innovation Award was exceptionally high – the effort put in by the four finalists reflected in applications of a R&D grant level standard – and MSC R&D had to apply the same rigorous process to evaluating them.

All four finalists made a strong case to win the award, but one company in particular stood out – Oxford Spacesystems, who are pioneering a new generation of deployable space structures that are lighter, more stowage efficient and cost effective than what is commercially available.

Congratulations to Oxford Spacesystems!
