MSC R&D moves its Oxford office to Harwell

MSC R&D has moved even closer to the UK’s leading scientific and technology business community at Harwell Campus in Oxfordshire – we have taken an office there!

Harwell boasts more than £1 billion of world leading research infrastructure on its 710-acre site in Oxfordshire. The site has seen 60 years of world-changing innovation, from the foundation of the Atomic Energy Research Establishment in 1946 to the opening of the Diamond Synchrotron in 2007.

In 2017, MSC R&D became one of the Connect Harwell Workshop sponsors, running workshops on UK and EU R&D grant funding. This gave us an insight into this innovative, ground-breaking and growing community and we soon realised the potential benefits of having a permanent location there.

With more than 5000 people working at Harwell in some 200 organisations, including start-ups and multinationals, the opportunity to keep abreast of the latest developments across a broad range of technologies and to build valuable relationships was too good to pass up.

So, in April 2018 we moved into building R103 – right behind the Costa café – and now look forward to fully immersing ourselves in the Harwell community.
